Instantly you see the amazing view of the open Santa Margarita hillside - which is a view of the historic Santa Margarita Ranch that surrounds the town. In the morning enjoy your cup of Java on the deck for an early hillside sunrise. The Owners created this Santa Margarita country style home for their guests to enjoy the surroundings, relax and explore the central coast experience. Then relax at home in the evening, viewing the stars from the hot tub. This fully furnished home has the comforts of home from a gourmet kitchen to a tranquil back yard that blooms every color imaginable. Enjoy fresh garden spices to enhance your cooking experience and the lovely Koi Pond! The hand carved table outside is the Owner's treasure that offers dining for good friends and family. New outdoor kitchen!
Interior highlights include vaulted ceilings, comfy seating and hard wood floors. Both bedrooms have quality comfy beds and linens. The Master bedroom, which opens to the exquisite backyard, has an upgraded luxury bathroom with a designer tiled shower. The garage is accessible with washer and dryer, a wine cooler and extra refrigerator. NOTE: The owner's cats will be on the property and are older, outdoor cats that the neighbor will care for when the owners are not present.
Santa Margarita is centrally located, only 10 minutes from Cal Poly and the city of SLO. If you want to go north, you are minutes away from Wine country. I can’t think of a better place to live in an exclusive country style home, and within minutes take a drive over the pass to some of the most spectacular beaches on the central coast. This home has it all!
Santa Margarita is its own small town; within a few blocks you can enjoy the Ancient Peaks Winery, various gift shops, a Chip and Joanna Gains "Home Store", and everyone’s favorite restaurant The Range - which now has a fabulous Mexican restaurant across the street. For a thrill, check out the zip lines that give you an amazing view of the whole area or take a guided kayak tour of Santa Margarita Lake.
The home is lived in most of the year. The owner ask if guest can water indoor plants and feed the Koi. Instructions are at the property. We appreciate guest who can help accommodate this features. If this is something that is no doable, please let us know in advance and we can ask a neighbor.
