Travel Purpose: leisure
Positive: It was well located with lots of shops and restaurants around. The living area was bright and spacious. The communication with the company was very good and it was easy to find the place where the keys were kept in order to access the property, despite us arriving late in the evening.
Negative: Our personal data was hacked and we got a scam email on WhatsApp asking us to do an online check in. We were expecting to have to do that and very nearly fell for it. I don’t know if it was the company who were hacked or Booking.com. This was advertised as a 3 bedroom property. The main bedroom was excellent, the second bedroom was adequate, the third bedroom was a box room with no hanging facilities. It was very noisy in the evenings. A few things could have made the stay much better. An extra key (only one provided), some provisions such as tea, coffee, salt, pepper. A shower caddy in the bathrooms. Be aware this apartment was on the third floor and no lift.
Summary: It was an enjoyable stay and Girona was lovely.
