Summary: When claiming our keys we were told that the place we were staying was not even in Chatel. We had to reload all our luggage and get the taxi to Linga over 2 miles away from Chatel. We were told that we could get linen on arrival but when there was told that the linen place was not open and they would sort it the following day - which they didn’t. We thought that the photos and description of Chatel Reservation were extremely misleading. We thought that Chatel Reservation, when booked, was centrally located in an ideal spot for getting to all restaurants and ski areas. In fact is states on hotel.com ski in/ski out access from your apartment. This clearly was not the case at all. When booking through Chatel Reservation you could literally end up anywhere in the Linga/Chatel/Super Chatel region. The ski hire that we booked was centrally located that instead of where we were actually staying which was unbelievably inconvenient. I cannot stress enough I put reviews online all the time all very balanced and fair. I have never been more disappointed in this inaccurate selling of this rental property. The bed we stayed in had a separate room with bunk beds and in the kitchen area there was a pullout sofa bed. The property itself was not very clean, areas in the bathroom and kitchen area had not been cleaned properly. The property was small and quite close to the nearest bus stop. The busses were every 10 minutes mostly.
