The surrounding woods, especially the ancient beech of Frith Wood, are clothed in bluebells in Spring. With a scenic 20-minute ramble past Fletchers Orchard, blackberry hedges and hay fields, you will reach the Woolpack in Slad, of ’Cider with Rosie’ fame.
