In the heart of the Creuse Valley, less than a kilometer (on foot) from a beach and 5 minutes from Argenton-sur-Creuse, renovated former forge with sauna and 300 meters :
Project 2024 New rectangular swimming pool (5.5 X 10) with full-width staircase, opening May 2024. Work in progress.
A swimming pool on the site of the other gîtes, heated according to the weather (shared with 3 other gîtes) from May to September, 1.50 meters deep, a chalet (shower and WC); authorized hours 10am, 9pm and a wood-heated Nordic bath (not operational July, August);
Places to visit: Gargilesse-Dampierre (one of France's most beautiful villages), Argentomagus , La Brenne or Lac d'Eguzon... Zoo Parc de BEAUVAL 1h15 away. First floor: living room and kitchen in the former forge with red-brick fireplace and wood-burning stove - storeroom - wc - shower room with walk-in shower and sauna.
1st floor: master bedroom with 1 x 160 x 200 cm bed, bath and island including washbasin and wc - living room with office area.
2nd floor: bedroom with 1 x 160 x 200 cm bed and 1 x 1-person bed - Zen area on the mezzanine (2 extra foam heaters).
For good insulation, the walls are plastered with a mixture of hemp and lime.
Public parking on the square 50 m away.
Electric heating (invoiced according to consumption) and wood (45 € per stere).
Green space 300 m from the other gites, 2800 m² with trampoline and table tennis, pétanque court;
Greenway 2 minutes away, bike rental available in Argenton sur Creuse.
