The seven-kilometre-long lake is a great area for anglers and, due to its good water quality and sandy beach, is also a wonderful bathing lake - even for the very youngest guests. The castle with the castle garden, the Schwerin Cathedral or the Schwerin State Theater are absolutely worthwhile excursion destinations. However, the best way to explore the beautiful surroundings is hiking, cycling or inline skating.
