Superbly located for enjoying the stunning Camel estuary and the beautiful sandy beaches of Rock, Polzeath and Daymer Bay, this really cosy, old character cottage is situated in the pretty small village of St Minver, 2 miles from the ever popular village of Rock and 3 miles north of the town of Wadebridge. Surrounded by breathtaking scenery with private far reaching countryside views this is the ideal cottage in which to have a really relaxing holiday yet with a wealth of Cornish villages and ports close by to explore as well as the outstanding beaches to enjoy. The cottage is a traditional semi detached cottage close to the centre of St Minver. You enter the cottage into the porch then through into the hallway leading to the cosy sitting room with a log burner adding to the character. It's then through to the kitchen with dining area and another log burner ensuring the cottage is kept warm and comfortable in the cooler months to welcome you back after long walks along the beach when at its quietest. The first of the 3 bedrooms, a single is situated a couple of steps up from the ground floor. The remaining bedrooms, a super king-size double and a twin are on the first floor along with the bathroom. At the rear of the cottage a pretty garden with ample furniture offers a haven of peace at the end of the day . Just a few minutes level stroll will take you to the 18th century Fourways Inn with a popular restaurant and offering a fine choice of Cornish Ales from the friendly bar area. Opposite the pub is the iconic signpost highlights some of the finest beaches, most popular villages and best golf courses that Cornwall has to offer all within easy access. An ideal base in a great location for a relaxing holiday at any time of year.
Rock is a coastal village situated on the north eastern bank of the River Camel, opposite the famous harbour town of Padstow. There is a selection of watersports to choose from including; sailing, water skiing, windsurfing and angling. The golf course at nearby St Enodoc makes an interesting day trip. With a portfolio of world class beaches all within a short distance, it is easy to see why Rock makes such a delightful getaway.
