Set out over three floors, Long Ing Cottage is an attractive stone built property which is full of characterful, period features. You’ll find beautiful stone flag flooring as you enter the cottage and stunning exposed beams throughout; an inglenook fireplace takes pride of place in the bright and spacious living space and exposed stonework in the bathroom. All of these feature have been blended perfectly with stylish modern day comforts making this a warm and comfortable base that won’t leave you disappointed.
Long Ing Cottage is one of a handful of cottages set around a pretty courtyard, the location is elevated which together with the design of the property means wonderful far reaching views towards Holmfirth and the surrounding countryside. Most famous as the back drop to the long standing TV series ‘Last of the Summer Wine’, Holmfirth itself can be reached in a 5-minute drive or 20-minute walk.
