With a 20-minute drive to the coast, this cottage is the perfect property for exploring the area with your four-legged friends.

This Area is of Outstanding Natural Beauty boasts an abundance of wild life including many birds of prey. The nearest beach is 15 miles under half an hour’s drive away, and there are stunning unbroken countryside walks on your door step, which are dog friendly.
Plough Cottage consists of an open plan living space. It has a living area with wood burner, Freeview TV and DVD player and a kitchen area with all the essentials for creating a family meal. The conservatory is complete with a dining table and chairs and there is a family shower room with shower cubicle. Plough Cottage sleeps four guests in total, with a double bedroom and a twin bedroom. Outside to the rear of the property there is a patio area with great views over the rolling countryside, as well as a traditional brick-style BBQ and a seating area for al fresco dining.
There is plenty to see and do in the area such as cycling, mountain biking, fishing, hiking and horse riding. King Arthur’s Labyrinth is a great visitor attraction, taking visitors deep into the mountains of southern Snowdonia. Corris Narrow Gauge Railway, Corris Craft Centre and Corris Mine Explorers are all worth a visit. Beaches are a short drive away, and some are dog friendly. The lovely market town of Machynlleth is just 6 miles away with its wide high street and variety of independent shops, pubs and restaurants. Aberdovey is a thriving seaside fishing village with brightly painted houses which seem to cling to the shoreline and has a history dating back hundreds of years. It offers miles of beautiful golden sandy beaches with a fantastic selection of water-based activities including sailing, fishing and windsurfing. Golfers are also well catered for with an 18-hole championship golf course located at the western end of the village, which welcomes visiting players.
