You are renting 3 bedroom house in a big 5 bedroom house. The whole house (3 bedrooms and living rooms) will be for your use but you will not have access to 2 locked bedrooms. The house comes with 2 free parking spaces. Located 3 blocks from King street. You will see the horse carriages from the windows, walk or take Uber to wherever you want to go. You will be in the middle of downtown Charleston with abundance of shops and restaurants.
The house is 3-story Greek Revival style, it offers:
A living area with 55-inch Cable HDTV. A galley fully-equipped kitchen. Half bathroom right next to kitchen. A dining area with dining table for up to eight, with 2 separate stools. 3 bedrooms with 3 King beds. 1 sofa sleeper in living room. All linens are provided. First floor: bedroom with king size bed. Living/Dining areas in a same room. Half bath. Kitchen. Second floor: first master bedroom. Third floor: second master bedroom, Washer and dryer located in the 3rd floor bathroom. The house has tall ceiling, antique heart pine hardwood floor, sunny double piazzas, and big windows in every rooms.
Check-in time is 4PM
Check out by 11AM.
Extra charge: $15/block of hour for early check in / late check out.
House rule:
- No pet. No smocking.
- Quiet house: 11:00PM - 6:00AM
- Guests do not have access to locked bedrooms and roof.
- No more than 4 people on 2nd porch.
- No party allowed. Any gathering over 8 people needs owner approval.
- No illegal activities (Torrent download, prostitue, drug use...)
- If you travel with kids, please bring childproofing stuffs since the house is not childproofed.
This is not a luxury rental and I want to share it with people who want to visit Charleston. Security camera on site. The house was built in 1852 (pre civil war) with a lot of historic charms. It is not a party house. No grill allowed. This is an old house with old house smell, creaking hardwood floor, traffic noise… so please don’t expect a lot. Charleston is diversified and this is a mixed-income neighborhood which has high levels of racial, ethnic and income diversity. The house is next to a middle and low income housing complex.
