Kick back, relax, open a book and enjoy the peace and tranquility of this home away from home. Or, if you prefer, put on your bathing suits, pack the picnic basket and spend the day at the private bay beach located within a very short walking distance. For those of you looking to get in a little activity and exercise, jump on one of the bicycles that have been left for your enjoyment, and take a ride to the Springs General Store for some “good grub,” grab your tackle box and catch some fresh fish for dinner, shop the Farmer’s Market, see an art exhibit at Ashawagh Hall or take in a little East End culture at the Pollack-Krasner home!
This three-bedroom, two and a half bath home is located in the very desirable, Clearwater Beach neighborhood of East Hampton. The master bedroom has a king sized bed and an “en suite” bathroom. The second bedroom has two twin sized beds and an “en suite” half bath. The third bedroom has two twin beds and a full bath located just outside the bedroom door. The house is equipped with central A/C. Each room also has an overhead ceiling fan if you prefer to open the windows and circulate the fresh Hampton’s air! Each bedroom has a flat screen TV.
The living area is set up perfectly for easy inside/outside living and entertaining. The furniture is arranged such that it fosters evenings full of great conversation, laughs, or watching your favorite movie on the flat screen TV. For those of you with children, this is also a great spot to play board games or to have your little ones relax after a long day in the sun.
The cozy kitchen with brand new, stainless steel appliances is ready and waiting for those of you who appreciate being creative in the kitchen. You can enjoy quiet breakfasts and your morning coffee while bird watching or reading Dan’s Papers out on the very large deck that is located right off the kitchen. There is also a gas grill located on the deck since it wouldn’t be summer without the traditional summer barbecues!! But, make sure you serve the fresh corn, tomatoes and other produce purchased from the local farms!! It is the best! If you prefer indoor dining, the dining table can seat 8.
One of our favorite features of this “home away from home” is the newly built cedar outdoor shower. You will be fighting over who gets to use this shower at the end of each day. It is very private and has a changing area as well. There is also nothing more serene than taking a shower under the stars at the end of a day.
For your convenience, the washer and dryer are located just off the kitchen. All linens and towels are provided, however, if you prefer to bring your own, just let us know.
