Both the pub and shop are less than 200 yards from Cherry Tree Cottage. The lounge is stylish and comfortable with a cosy wood burning stove that really sets the scene on them more chilly evenings, the lounge is the perfect spot for relaxing after a day walking cycling, or horse riding in the Cheviot Hills. The kitchen/diner is the social hub of the cottage, a real generous space with exposed stone walls and sky lights making this room light, bright, and airy. Cherry Tree Cottage is a very short drive from Wooler High Street, with a variety of independent shops, cafés and pubs, and 5 minutes’ walk from the River Till and Doddington Milk Bar. Bamburgh a beautiful coastal town with its famous castle is 10 miles away and well worth a visit.
