Welcome to this cozy house in Svartsjö on Färingsö in Ekerö municipality. The cottage is located in the middle of the country, surrounded by fields, meadows and forests but is also close to Stockholm with all that the big city has to offer. The cottage is built about 1890 and consists of a newly renovated kitchen, living room with sofa group and a lovely fireplace. In this room there is also a fold-down bedside cabinet, which does not take up space for everyday life, but folded down it is a double bed for two people. From the living room you go out onto the secluded terrace. Here you can enjoy many wonderful barbecue dinners and look out over the beautiful landscape. On this floor there is a toilet with a separate shower room. In the hall inside the entrance, the washing machine and fridge / freezer are conveniently located. Upstairs without a railing, takes you upstairs and due to the lack of railing, the house is not suitable for small children. In the hall upstairs there is a bed and inside this room without a door in between there is a double bedroom. The owner has an adjacent horse farm and possibly it is possible to bring your own horse after consultation with the owner. In this house you will find peace and quiet in a scenic and relaxing environment, while you are close to the big city. On the plot there are also two other houses, of which the owner partly lives in one. Here you can feel private and can relax in peace and quiet and enjoy the beautiful nature close to the forest, where there are nice walking paths and plenty of mushrooms and berries. Ekerö consists of 140 islands, islets and skerries and there are many nice bathing places nearby, including Stockbybadet in Stenhammar and Karlskärsbadet. The Mälar Islands are one of the last areas of untouched countryside to be found in the absolute vicinity of Stockholm. Here the fertility and growth power are good and there are many nice market gardens / greenhouses with summer restaurants and cafes to visit such as Juntras, Gustavhill's market garden or Äppelfabriken, Do not miss to explore the rest of Ekerö such as beautiful Drottningholm Castle or Svartsjöslott. There are also many cultural heritage and ancient monuments and feel free to visit the Viking town Birka, which is located on the island of Björkö in Lake Mälaren. If you want to play golf or ride, there are good opportunities for that too. Enjoy your holiday and all the great experiences available in the local area.
