Positive: Not knowing what to expect in a rented Danish holiday home I was initially unsure of the general appearance and facilities. The garden was unkept, and the outside appearance a little scruffy. But settling in, we found all that was required for the stay was available, cooker, dishwasher ,washing machine etc, all with the instruction books to look at(take a translator app). The living space is a clean, open area with lots of glass giving it an outside feel. Sitting outside on the decking soon changed our view of the garden, it was as if sitting in a forest clearing with a constantly changing view and the occasional Fox or Deer wondering through! Completely relaxing, with only the birds to listen to. Essential shops fairly close by with a car, excellent fresh fish shop within walking distance. Plenty of easy access to train stations.

Negative: The beds did not lend themselves to a comfortable sleep, but that could be our age rather than the beds. We found lots of the throws littered about in the bedrooms stained and consequently decided not to use them, but I guess it is a family summerhouse and items such as throws become stained with children and adults on holiday. It did not deter us from enjoying the stay. There looked as if a hot tub was being assembled in a corner of the garden but not working when we stayed.
