For those seeking adventure, we're located near various recreational activities such as skiing, gem mining, hiking, fishing, horseback riding, rafting, and the prestigious Penland School of Crafts. We're situated in the Western North Carolina mountains, just five minutes away from town. As you approach your home away from home, enjoy a short drive through the Rusty Spur Tree Farm where you'll see cows, horses, and some area wildlife frolicking in the fields. This is a great place to get away and relax in a quiet location.
We're conveniently located within a reasonable commute to Ski Beech, Appalachian Ski Resort, Sugar Mountain Ski Resort, and Jonas Ridge Snow Tubing. Plus, we're centrally located between Asheville, Boone, and Johnson City.
If you're towing motorcycles on a trailer, you're more than welcome to park the trailer at our farm located just below the cabin. And when you're out riding, you can leave your truck along with the trailer at the barn without any worries.
