Glen Ellen, a little gem in the heart of the rolling green hills of wine country, is only 20 minutes from downtown Sonoma and prides itself on offering something amazing for everyone. Many beautiful state parks and fabulous vineyards are just a few minutes away. Relax and enjoy wilderness and fine wine in my private home away from home, The Oak Haven. Take a load off, you deserve it!
Nestled among giant oak trees, hugging a sprawling forest and across from Morton's Warm Springs (open only during the summer months), The Oak Haven is a sanctuary with gorgeous views that offers the blissful indulgence of a welcome retreat. Come and see the deer, turkey, fox and other wildlife that inhabit the woods. When it rains, a gurgling stream borders the property flowing amid grey stones and golden leaves.
Featuring a spacious deck, grill, outdoor table with umbrella and ample seating, The Oak Haven is the perfect spot for drinking and dining in the sunshine or shade. Enjoy a hot, bubbling soak under the brilliant stars after dinner in a comfortable six person hot tub!
High, sloping, wooden ceilings, large windows, a dining table for six, gorgeous antique furniture, hardwood floors, beautiful ceiling fans, well appointed lighting and a pellet-burning fireplace create a luxurious, relaxing experience with natural lighting and a quaint, rustic feel.
For indoor entertainment, high speed internet is readily available. Enjoy your preferred media on our portable 50 inch flat screen Apple TV and surround sound speaker bar. You can easily surf for movies, news, HBO shows, sports, iTunes and many more in high def. Apple TV also offers access to your personal iTunes music library from your laptop or iPhone.
For reading enthusiasts, there's a plush lounging chair with a foot rest by the fireplace. Local hiking, biking and winery guide books, cook books, board games and classic short stories is close by.
Crack a bottle of local, organic wine in our well appointed, fully stocked kitchen. Gleaming in black, silver and green with large sun lit windows, our kitchen also offers ample storage space, an electric stove top, a double oven, a large stainless steel fridge and all new appliances including a microwave, toaster, juicer, coffee grinder, tea kettle, coffee maker and french press.
The master bedroom suite features a queen bed, newly remodeled bathroom, an open walk in closet that serves as a little room where you can use our treadmill, antique armoire, ceiling fan, AC window unit, base board heater plush new carpet and a sliding door out to the surrounding deck.
The cozy middle room offers a floor fan, space heater, and comfy double bed, for those couples that like to snuggle close and an antique reading table.

Both the master bath and the guest bath have been remodeled with beautiful tile floors and new vanities, lights, sinks and fixtures. The bathrooms also come with organic bathing gels, shampoo/conditioners and hair dryers.
Our driveway and off street parking accommodates up to 3 cars. Driving from SFO or Oakland Airport will take approximately 90 minutes outside of rush hour.
