The space
This home is a great family or couples' romantic getaway with beautiful sunsets, high-speed WiFi, cable tv, and a new hot tub. Sweet Escape is located outside of Wisp Resort, near all of the hot spots that Deep Creek and Wisp Resort has to offer. Thanks to the great room's large picture windows, you can enjoy the incredible views of the surrounding ski slopes from the spacious patio deck or take in a fabulous mountainside, sunset picture from the comfort of inside the home. This home also offers a community catch and release fishing pond. "Important Note": Guests must be 25 years of age to make a reservation. Airbnb adds a service fee and the required MD State Occupancy Tax to your reservation. Standard check-in time is at 4 PM and check-out is at 10 AM. Sweet Escape has 4 bedrooms. The top floor bedroom has a Queen size bed and it's own personal half bathroom. The two main floor bedrooms have full size beds and share the main floor full bathroom. Downstairs there is a large living room, a full bathroom w/laundry room, and an additional bedroom with two bunk bed sets (for a total of 4 twin size beds). Please beware of hidden costs from other vacation rentals.

Sweet Escape is located in McHenry, Maryland, which is the Northern portion of Deep Creek Lake. This location shortens driving distances from Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Washington, DC, and North Eastern Maryland (Baltimore, Rockville, etc...). The Host will message you with house access and driving instructions a week prior to your arrival date.
Other things to note
We provide bed linen, 6 set of bath towels (additional towel sets for more than 6 guests), two kitchen dish towels, 1 roll of paper towel, two TP in each bathroom, and hand soap in each bathroom. Our housekeeper leaves a little dish soap, automatic dish washing soap, and sometimes laundry detergent and dryer sheets. You will need to bring your own beach towels and toiletries and bath soap and shampoo/conditioner. There is a single serve k-cup coffeemaker and a regular automatic drip coffee maker with coffee basket filter. Please bring your own coffee k-cups, coffee grounds, and condiments. You may want to bring an extra 2 or 3 garbage bags as our housekeeper provides only 1 or 2 large black bags for trash. Beds will be made up with linens upon your arrival. We ask that guests remove the bed linens, if used, and place them at the foot of the bed at the end of your stay. We have snow removal for the driveway, but guests will be required to shovel snow to clear paths on sidewalks and patio during their stay with the shovels that are provided. There are smoke alarms in all levels of the house. Please "DO NOT SMOKE" anything inside our home. Our cleaning agency will notify us if the home smells like cigarettes or weed, and we will hold the deposit until the home is deodorized completely. Unlike all of the Vacation Home Rentals in the area, we do not charge any "Linen or Management Fees."
