This location is near everything which includes Biking, Hiking, Walking, Swimming, Relaxing, Sightseeing, Birding , Golfing and more. You are virtually in the National Park and so nice that the park has Free Shuttle Service in the summer around the entire Island. You can take a Ferry to Schoodic Penisula, Cranberry Islands and more. . The home is in a small association with 5 other neighbors. Each Home has their own parking.

Summary: We had a delightful stay. Our host was very thoughtful, providing wonderful insight before our trip (so we could make reservations for busy tourist attractions) and made a list of all the things we should do in the area. He was responsive by text whenever I had a question. I truly felt like I was welcomed into his home. The house was located in a great location for walks in Acadia, and a quick drive to either Southwest Harbor or Bar Harbor. I would definitely recommend this owner/cottage combination to others.
