A three-minute drive brings you to the entrance of the Linville Gorge Wilderness, home to the breathtaking Wiseman's View, also known as the Grand Canyon of North Carolina. Or hop on the Blue Ridge Parkway, just under 5 minutes from the cabin, for views and multiple hiking trails. Linville Caverns, Linville Falls, and the beautiful Linville Winery, offering outdoor seating and live music, are all a few minutes away. Guests of all ages will love Banks Creek Barn, only two minutes down the road, with 80 acres of outdoor family fun, including a taproom and trout fishing ponds. Be in Banner Elk in 30 minutes for mountain biking, skiing, snow tubing, and ice skating at Sugar Mountain Resort or white water rafting, ATV rentals, and the Wilderness Run Alpine Coaster adventure park. Winter enthusiasts will find Jonas Ridge Snow Tubing Park only 8 minutes away.
A Cowboys Retreat is charmingly rustic on the outside with a unique and modern flare on the inside. Step into the main level living room and find high vaulted ceilings, warm wood surroundings, and comfortable leather couches. The adjacent kitchen offers plenty of space to feed hungry cowboys and cowgirls with a dining room table that will seat all 10 guests. Downstairs is a spacious game room with a pool table, arcade game, and cowboy-style round card table. The game room pull-out sofa is an additional sleeping option. The main level covered deck is the perfect place to take in the seasonal mountain views from the classic rocking chairs or grill on the charcoal grill. The lower level patio is home to the hot tub, with the fire pit just beyond. There is ample space around the house to run, play and enjoy the peaceful setting.
With a queen and full bedroom on the main level, a spacious master bedroom upstairs with a king bed, and a twin daybed with a trundle, A Cowboys Retreat will comfortably accommodate up to 10 guests.
Additional amenities include central heating and air conditioning, a washer and dryer, Wifi, and five TVs, with Direct TV and NFL ticket. There is parking for three cars in the gravel parking area in front of the home, with a two-tiered set of steps leading up to the main level deck and front entrance.
