Enjoy ocean views, gorgeous sunsets, and strolls to the nearby beaches. Our beach house is located 3 miles north of Bodega Bay in a quiet, friendly community called Carmet. It has 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a large kitchen, a living room with a wood burning stove, a newly added family room with bar and large flat screen TV's perfect for watching Sunday football. It has both travertine and hardwood floors, a large deck and a huge yard. The new deck extends the length of the house and has a raised hot tub to soak in as you enjoy the sunset. The living room, dining room, and kitchen have large windows with ocean views. Walk in either direction for 3 to 5 minutes to enjoy two great beaches. A short drive to the town of Bodega provides excellent dining – Lucas Wharf and The Tides are two favorites. Wine tasting, horseback riding, golf, spa, and fishing are all minutes away. The quaint town of Occidental is only a 15-minute scenic drive away for antique and gift shopping. The amazing River's End restaurant in Jenner is a short 15 minute drive North. Nearby Goat Rock State Park at the mouth of Russian River is a great place for seal watching during the 'pupping season' and rock climbing as well. The house has 2 queen beds, 1 bunk bed with full size bed on the bottom and twin on top, and 1 twin bed, 2 color TVs, 1 DVD players, and a stereo. For families with children there are 2 pack-n-plays for babies, 2 booster seats, and lots of toys. Comfortably sleeps two families.
We want to share our home with families looking to spend quiet time at the beach together. Please no parties or large groups. The house is located in a quiet, family friendly neighborhood and is on a sensitive septic system.
