Positive: There was plenty of space in the bedrooms to hang clothes, put away toiletries and medicines. I confess to leaving some paracetamol and hayfever pills behind. Hope other guests can use. Bathroom was also a good size with lovely shower. Well stocked kitchen with just enough glassware & crockery for 4 to 5 people. Nice to find beach toys, board games and umbrellas to use and if you stayed here in colder months there are plenty of blankets in the double bedrooms wardrobe and stored under the bed in bags in the twin room. Best deal of all though was the patio area and pool where you could chat to neighbours and enjoy a swim in unsalted water. The small circular pool was a pleasant surprise for toddlers and we had a lot of fun with water pistol fights across the two pools. We’ve left those behind as our tip for a family holiday well spent.
Negative: The leaking kettle, and perhaps the toaster has seen better days. It might be nice to have one of the single beds changed to a memory foamed one. The spring mattress played havoc on my arthritis. Maybe a topper made available as an option to soften the springs.
Summary: A lovely base to explore a unique bio diverse island with plenty of hidden gems.
