The cosy village of Meribel is located at a small distance from Meribel Centre. A cocoon of solitude, it's at an altitude of 1400 metres. Experience its beautiful wooden and stone chalets. Visit its rustic chapel and feel like you have stepped into the pages of history. The village square is a township in itself, with free car parking, supermarkets, cake shops, eateries and a sports store. Spend days sampling traditional Savoyard cuisine and French gourmet. Grab lunch on the terrace of La Cantine d'Alvar, against an awe-inspiring backdrop of Mont Vallon. Relish decadent Indian food at Tsaretta Spice and gooey fondues at La Fromagerie.
Go hiking along 25 kms of scenic trails around the valley. Check out fragrant villages, frozen lakes and hypnotic peaks. Post 3pm every day, you can catch tantalizing cabaret acts, live performances and dancers in extravagant costumes at La Folie Douce Méribel-Courchevel.
