The Grote Geere farm, with its monumental barn, has had various changes / adjustments since 1670. The former farm (with a "bakkeet", wagon house and pig house) was rebuilt for you into a holiday home and apartment complex on the basis of original drawings. All accommodations are furnished with antibacterial materials. Attempts have been made to build as sustainably as possible.
The Grote Geere is best described by luxury, comfort, free location in the landscape and yet easily accessible. A great base for beach and forest, the picturesque town of Veere, the cozy Domburg or the beautiful city of Middelburg.

DescriptionThe ground floor is home to a spacious living room with a fully equipped open kitchen. Adjacent to that are two bedrooms, one of which is a single room with its own wash basin and shower. The second bedroom, with two single beds, has a spacious bathroom with shower, wash basin, toilet and is wheelchair-friendly. Ideal accommodation for people with reduced mobility! The first floor has two bedrooms. The double room has a small seating area and is very spacious. The other bedroom has a single bed. All sleeping accommodation has box spring beds.The bathroom on this floor has a toilet, wash basin, shower and a bath.
Location
The former, authentic Zeelandic barn accommodates luxurious apartments. There are apartments that sleep four and also a wheelchair-friendly apartment that sleeps six. A cot can be added in every apartment. There is also an annexe with a separate room with a washing machine and tumble dryer. De Grote Geere has a common playing field and its own car park. Furthermore, each apartment has its own entrance and terrace. There is also a central, multi-functional common area that can be used to meet each other, to play games, hold meetings or parties.

Oostkapelle is one of the larger villages in the municipality of Veere and was named after a chapel that is alleged to have stood here at some point in time. Oostkapelle borders onto two magnificent areas of natural beauty between Domburg and Vrouwenpolder: Manteling (740 hectares), a wide strip of land with dunes and forest and the Oranjezon dune area (400 hectares). There are also some country estates and the imposing Westhove Castle. The former orangery, Terra Maris, a museum for nature and landscape, is only 750 metres from the beach and has a landscaped garden of 2.5 hectare. There is also a museum café and a museum shop.
