Positive: It's the second time we went to Kinosaki Onsen, and I couldn't have asked for a better place. The staff at the reception is very friendly and helpful, they even offered us a lift to the station the next day. They also gave us a free room upgrade, with free beverages and even beer. They speak english as well but we live in Japan and were fine with Japanese. Besides that the hotel is in a very good location, 15' from the train station, 5' from the bus stop, as well as the main attractions. There is a in house onsen with outside bath as well, and they also give you a free pass for the onsens in town. The room was very quiet and spacious, and the morning breakfast was one of the best I had so far. There is a wide selection of freshly prepared food, both japanese and continental, and the chef is preparing the dishes in the same room. we also had dinner and it was a perfect Kaiseki course, we were impressed by the lady that served us dinner. She was experienced and explained the dishes in details. We could see her passion in her job. we will definitely come back here next time we visit Kinosaki.
