This beautiful guest house is newly constructed along the foothills with a fabulous view of the mountains. It is located on a half acre property with a Pool and Jacuzzi just outside the house to walk into. It is a quick drive away from everything you want to see. Skiing, beaches or just R & R in a resort style atmosphere. It has 2 bedrooms with one bath. Full kitchen and laundry, with a spacious living room. Beautifully decorated. We have a security system on the house and security cameras on the outside for added security in an already quiet neighborhood.

Summary: This is an in-law unit. The owner of the property will stay on the premise during your stay. You can see what’s going on in their house, so can they. The owner has many house rules that are not included on the Vrbo profile page, so be ready for those. For example, you are required to clean the shower glass door after each use; otherwise, it will leave watermark. There was an incident during our stay which made my wife and I extremely uncomfortable. We visited the area because of our friends moved here. We haven’t seen each other for a long time because of the pandemic. I did made the owner aware of the possibility of my friend and his wife visiting us at the house, since it’s easier for us not have to travel with two kids. We had dinner and stayed in the house for the evening. We were so happy to see each other and spending the evening catching up. All of the sudden, the owner knocked on the door, told me that it’s past quiet hour and that my friends couldn’t stay overnight. That wasn’t their plan to stay, and we honestly lost track of the time chatting. I asked the owner if we were being too loud, which the owner responded, “No.” Our friends left shortly after that visit from the owner. The incident led me to believe that the owner was monitoring our activities, which made the rest of our stay extremely uncomfortable. If we wanted to be monitored, we would spend a lot less money to rent a room in a house. The descriptions in the profile is extremely misleading. Before we check out, I made rounds to pick up paper towels and things off the floor and to ensure no damage was done to the property. While it wasn’t in the many house rules to clean the dishes after each use, I even loaded up the dishwasher to help the owner start the cleaning process. We checked out on-time and handed the house key to the owner. I received an invoice from the owner that afternoon for an additional cleaning fee because the house was “too dirty.” I understand that we all have different standards when it comes to cleanliness. The cleaning fee was included in the rental fee, which was paid in full. It’s unreasonable to charge additional fees because our cleaning standards don’t match. How do I know if the owner didn’t go back to the property and created extra mess after we had left? Proceed with causation with this property.
