Summary: Overall, this home was what we needed for time with family. It was plenty of room for our family of four and my sister-in-law's family of four. The bunk room was perfect for the younger kids and my teenage daughter got her own room. We really liked the proximity to the water and spent a lot of time swimming off the dock. We brought a lily pad with us, which the kids loved. My sister-in-law loves to fish with her kids and this was an epic spot for that! My nephew caught his first fish this week! They loved feeding the ducks and geese that swam up into the cove. I really enjoyed sitting on the porch, cracking peanuts, and watching storms roll in over the lake. With the 4th holiday, there were a number of fireworks displays that we could see from the porch. Unfortunately, there were a number of maintenance issues during our stay that caused us some inconvenience. Being a holiday week, we were unable to get one of the major things fixed and went the week without power in half of the master suite. The septic tank also backed up into the house and we went an entire day without a working toilet. I must commend the property managers, though. Every time we contacted them, they responded quickly. They were even able to get a truck down to pump the septic tank on July 5th when most businesses were closed. They also had their cleaning staff come and clean our bathrooms. Overall, the stay was nice and we enjoyed it. Thank you for sharing your home with us. :)
