Private cabin in the woods up the hill from Sylamore Creek and the White River! 2 bed 1 bath, 1.4k sq. ft. cabin sits on 5 ac of woods. Sit by stone fireplace below an open air loft or sip your coffee while enjoying the views from the covered front porch. Cabin has a full kitchen, and oak floors in the living room.
Explore the native rock formations and flora via private .4 mile loop hiking trail that outlines the property or watch the wildlife play from the porch.
This could be your weekend getaway, or multi-week retreat. It's a rare combination of privacy and convenience to Mountain View, Blanchard Springs, The Ozark Folk Center, National Forests, and trout fishing are all just a heartbeat away. Just minutes from everything you could desire.
During season there are many birds that visit our feeders, including hummingbirds - watch and identify them with provided binoculars and our Birds of Arkansas book. Charcoal grill by the garden bed or hang out in the hammock area for a nice relaxing getaway.
Living room is set-up for rainy days as well. We provide a small selection of books to enjoy by the fireplace - we are working on expanding our library selection all the time. Enjoy one of the board games, card games or puzzles we have on the shelves.
NO BASIC CABLE, but all TVs & projector are set up with Chromecast to stream directly from your phone. TVs in living room and both bedrooms. Downstairs living room has many DVDs to choose froom. Upstairs loft area is set-up with projector and Dolby Digital audio for a night at the "theater."
Up the hill from the Swinging Bridge, the Trailhead for the North Sylamore Creek Trail, and around the corner from the Syllamo Mountain Bike Trail. You can grab a drink with dinner at Anglers Restaurant (2 miles away) before calling it a day.

There is only 1 security camera on the property. It is on the house facing the driveway.
Guest is accessible to whole property. Does not include crawl space under house and labeled utility closet.
Other things to note:
*We do not charge a cleaning fee. We just ask that you clean up after yourselves and leave the cabin as you found it.
*$150 cleaning fee for smoking inside the cabin. Smoke outside & throw away your butts.
*No hunting on the property
*No littering. - Toss your cigarette butts in the trash. Not in fire pit either, please. $25 for every cigarette butt found flicked outside.
*Bring your own firewood! Wood that supports Veterans can be purchased in town for $5 a bundle at Harps.
*Be courteous of neighbors. No blasting music late night hours.
*Do not toss out food scraps of any sort. This will attract pests and animals.
*Sorry No Minors on Property (18+ only)

*You are staying at a cabin in nature. There may be wildlife - please do not harm anything.
*Please note - for stays longer than 4 days someone might need to come out to water all the plants. No entry necessary, but will need to go on porch to water. This is not always the case, only if it's really hot and days without rain.
*Price listed is base pricing for 2 guests. Each additional guest is $15 per night. Maximum of 4 guests allowed to stay at property.
