Welcome to Residential Hotels, Kallio. This small renovated apartment is in the heart of Helsinki, in a 100 year old apartment building. The location is great, as there's a metro, tram and bus stop just outside. This place is is clean, modern and a true substitute for a hotel room. The unit is maintained by a professional, friendly and English speaking property manager.

Breakfast supplies, coffee and tea are included. You will be pleasantly surprised by all the equipment and necessities in the apartment. Upon your arrival everything is 100% fresh and clean.

The studio has a 65" Ultra HD Android Smart TV system with an integrated soundbar. This ensures an amazing experience for a netflix/movie nights, but it can also be used for gaming or work, as a computer of phone screen is easily cast onto the big screen.

In the small kitchen you will find an induction stove, an oven, a microwave, fridge and freezer. All the relevant cooking equipment is present, as well as silverware. Breakfast supplies (oatmeal, cornflakes, granola, coffee, tea) are always included!

The apartment has high speed wifi. Network details are found inside the apartment. In terms of activities, there is a high quality Manduka Pro- yoga mat and some dumbells (weights) that you can train with.

The IKEA beds are super comfortable and soft. You'll always sleep in cozy, high quality & fresh sheets. In the tiny bathroom you'll find high quality shampoo, hair conditioner, soap, toothpaste, a toothbrush which you may keep, and other detergent. Fresh towels can be found on your bed.

Laundry can be done downstairs in the laundry room of the apartment building. You can reserve the place to yourself and do your laundry in peace.

The host(s) are friendly towards everyone, ready to serve you at any time and willing to help with getting around the city or taking care of your business.

You will have the ability to directly call the property manager or the host(s) via telephone on any emergency matters, 24/7.

--The location--

Helsinginkatu, the street that the apartment is located on, is perhaps the most lively street in Helsinki. It's also the longest street in Helsinki. You will find plenty of bars, restaurants, shops and other interesting venues on the same street. There's a cinema, a vintage clothing store as well as a music store almost immediately next door to the apartment. There's even a public sauna just around the corner!

This neighbourhood has the best value in all of Helsinki, as a pint of beer can be grabbed for as low as 3,90€ (bar Kalliohovi) and a kebab for 6€ (Sörkän Pippuri). Because of this the area is popular among students, young adults and people who just love being out socialising.

Kallio and Alppiharju are also regarded as the most vegan friendly neighbourhoods in Helsinki, as there are a good number of restaurants that serve only vegan.
