Come to the Beach at Kingston in Kitsap Peninsula. Just a short ferry ride (about 30 minutes) from Seattle or Edmonds. This beach house is AMAZING! With 5 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms (including a bathroom and a shower outside for swimmers and sandy feet), this home is great for families or gatherings large or small. Seriously, this house is located right on the beach. The home, on over 1 acre of land, was built 50 feet from the sand, with 160 feet of no bank waterfront on privately owned tidelands along Apple Tree Cove saltwater with Carpenter Creek Estuary nearby.
There are 5 bedrooms including a master suite, 3 bedrooms with queen beds, and a bunk room with 2 full beds and 2 twin beds.

This place is so beautiful, you will never want to leave. When the tide goes out, you can explore the tidelands barefoot---there is soft sand here, and only rarely a rock or sharp shell. Go hunting for sand dollars by Arness Beach along the estuary-- a huge hit for kids and adults. When the tide comes in, the waters are warm for swimming. Fishing is great! Seasonally, crab pots can be set out for a yummy dinner. You can paddle board or kayak or canoe or sail. Bring your boat and fish, waterski, row, or sail. Mountain biking and walking trails are everywhere. Shopping is great in quaint Port Gamble (9 miles away), Poulsbo (10 miles away), Bainbridge Island (17 miles away), Port Ludlow (19 miles away), Silverdale (15 miles away), or Port Townsend (36 miles away).
Enjoy our cute town of Kingston. Walk to town and enjoy crepes and THE BEST coffee or visit our Wine Bar. Eat at the many fine local restaurants for a quick bite or a slow food farm-to-table feast.
Call Olympic Outdoor Sports for Paddle Boarding or Kayaking Gear. In the summer, you can see an amazing phenomenon --- phosphorescence---glowing waters.
Vintage goods, Home Goods Store, Bakeries, Cafes, Ice-cream Parlors, Independent Movie Theater with 2 screens, skateboard park, neighborhood park with playground and eating area, tennis courts, Community Center, Library, grocery shop, post office, book store, local hardware store and 20 restaurants/cafes/eateries are all within a few minutes walk. If you love nature, take a stroll thru Bloedel Reserve and Heronswood Gardens--both are just a 10 to 20 minute drive.
If you choose to have a walking vacation, you can take the Kitsap Transit FAST FERRY from Seattle or the WA State Ferry from Edmonds, you can leave your car behind and literally walk a few minutes down the sidewalks from the ferry terminal to our home. Alternatively, you can take your car on the ferry from Edmonds directly to Kingston or you can take your car on the ferry from Seattle to Bainbridge and drive about 25 minutes to reach our home.
If you don’t want to take the Ferry, you can drive 75 miles to our home from Seattle Tacoma Airport by taking the Tacoma Narrows bridge and heading through Bremerton, Silverdale, and Poulsbo. You or your guests can also Take Uber from Seatac airport to the Edmonds Ferry Terminal and ride across. Amtrak has a train station in Edmonds right at the Edmonds ferry terminal, so you and your guests can come from all across the country by train (sleeping cars available), hop the ferry, and walk 3 blocks to our home. It's THAT convenient!
The home is 25 miles from Bremerton, 17 miles from Bainbridge, and 10 miles from Poulsbo. The Hood Canal Bridge is 10 miles away and a beautiful drive---originally built as the longest floating bridge in the world---the gateway to the Olympic Peninsula.
This vacation home is comfortably furnished and includes all linens, kitchen essentials, beach towels, everything you need except groceries, friends, and family. Grocery Outlet and Safeway grocery stores are close by. Or shop seasonally at our Public Market on Sundays at the Kingston Marina.
White Horse Golf Course is less than 3 miles away. The Point Casino is 5 miles away. Clearwater Casino and Spa is 10 miles away. You can take the ferry back and forth to Edmonds for dinner or antique shopping OR take the new Fast Ferry from Kingston to Seattle for all kinds of attractions.
