In the winter you ski in and out right out of your door. You are only a two-minute drive from the Mountain Village and all the amenities of the resort. In the summer hike from the home throughout the expansive mountain trail system. Inside this log home, you will find new top of the line furnishings and several spaces to gather as a group and a large open kitchen for entertaining. Three bedrooms and a loft space make room for 11 to sleep comfortably with the option to add a roll-away.

Ski Access:
Located near the Rising Bull access in Powder Ridge. Anticipated opening date for White Otter lift is mid December, but the lift may open earlier in the season depending on snow conditions. The lift typically closes in mid April, prior to resort closing. The cabin is not ski-in/out when White Otter Lift is not running. Please inquire for details.
Ski Out:
Enter the trail directly behind your cabin onto the Buffalo Hide Access Trail. It will cross Rosebud Loop Road right before Rising Bull Road. Follow this access trail along the road. The Buffalo Hide access trail will turn left and cross Rising Bull Road to head downhill towards White Otter chairlift. You should see the maintenance building on your right. Load the White Otter chairlift. At the top., exit White Otter Lift and turn left. Cross to the right of White Wing Run and follow the sign on skier’s right for Big Sky Base Area. This is a hard right and requires keeping up your speed. (Green access)
Note: In periods of melting it may be necessary to take skis off to cross the road at Rising Bull
Ski In:
Follow Lower Morningstar to FIRST set of Powder Ridge signs on the left onto Bozeman Trail. Follow it under the Challenger lift. At the first set of signs (Bozeman Trail/Cascade Lift/Rosebud Bridge/White Otter Bridge) you will stay left towards Rosebud Access/Bridge. The next set of signs (Cascade Lift/Little Thunder) stay left. The third set of signs (Rising Bull Access/Rosebud Bridge/Chief Gull Access) veer right. Take an immediate left at the fourth set of signs (Rosebud Bridge/Chief Gull Access/Buffalo Hide Access) toward Buffalo Hide Access. Follow this trail back to your cabin. Once the trees end on the right, stay to the left and ski around the two homes. Your home with be the one right after.
