Positive: The ocean view from the restaurant is stunning, is exactly as is shown in the pictures. The beds were very comfty and size of the bedroom and bathroom was really nice. The location is top! 10 min walking to punda beach and downtown.
Negative: The breakfast did not fully match what was offered. Orange juice, which was included in the breakfast description, was not available on either day, and guests are not informed in advance, so you cannot decide beforehand whether the breakfast is worth paying for. Check-in was late and check-out was very early at 10:00. While luggage storage is allowed, there is no option to shower afterward. Considering how hot Curaçao is, this is very inconvenient if you plan to walk around before a flight. At check-out, there was a complete lack of communication from reception. The receptionist was aware that I was preparing to leave, as I was in a small room behind the desk organizing and closing my suitcases. She told me to “take your time,” but did not inform me that she would be leaving or that the hotel door would be locked. When I exited with my luggage, the hotel door was closed and locked, and there was no one at reception. No explanation was given and no prior notice was communicated. I was left outside with my suitcases until another staff member (possibly from the restaurant) appeared and kindly helped me carry them to the car.
