Summary: We had wanted a family getaway that was a comfortable drive up from the Raleigh area (only 3 hours) and just outside of Asheville. This beautiful lodge exceeded our expectation from it's near mountain top location, elegant furnishings and scenic mountain view. We enjoyed the peace and tranquility that the location offered while being able to savor the sights and sounds of the vibrant town of Asheville and its surrounding attractions. The property comes fully equipped including a game room that the kids really enjoyed. A 5-star experience for us and we highly recommend it for anyone (including families) seeking a similar experience.
