A wonderful stay for the whole family or a group of friends at this stylish boho-modern home. Located in the heart of downtown Newburgh, you will be able to walk to all this historic town has to offer. Shops, food, views, and landmarks! Also, just 15 minutes from downtown Evansville. I am so excited to share the feeling of relaxation of positive energy that this home gives, with others. Built in 1865, this Historic home sits on a hill in downtown Newburgh and has been entirely updated in the past year. Vibey mood lighting throughout, the house is stocked with QUALITY products for guests to enjoy!
The home consists of three full bedrooms (all with memory foam mattresses), a full kitchen with all of the essentials (including childrens serve ware) and a Nespresso machine. While also having 1.5 bathrooms, and a 6 seating dining room (can seat 8, if you bring the chairs in from the patio. They fit perfectly with the vibe and it is where they sit anyways in the winter!), this home is perfect for large families or groups.
High end furniture is placed through out the house; including pieces from CB2, West Elm, Poly and Bark, and Article. All of the rooms are spacious and well decorated, stocked with extra blankets and pillows. Linen brands used are West Elm, Parachute, Casaluna, Threshold, and Pillowfort-among others. I also offer name brand bathroom essentials. I have stayed at enough rentals myself, that use cheap products (coffee, shampoos, toilet paper, etc/cheap furniture/cheap linens/etc.) I am happy and passionate about providing my guests a better experience; a comfortable home away from home that has GOOD quality items!
There are 3 designated workspaces in the home- One in the kitchen and 2 in the bedrooms, respectively. The home also offers two smart TV's with fire sticks. One 65 inch and the other 48 inch.
Many childrens toys are available in the home and during the summer, there are some outside as well. There is also a charming front porch with plenty of seating-plus blankets for chilly nights.
I would love to host you and your group! **There is NO SMOKING of any kind allowed in this house or on the property!**
If there is any smell or indication of smoking of any sort, a $300 fee will be applied. When someone smokes in the house, I have to wash every single curtain, couch cushion, rug, and even linens that are not used.
It requires extra deep cleaning, still can be smelled, and impacts future guests.
*****There are no parties or gatherings of any kind allowed in the house, unless pre approved by me. Only the number of guests listed at booking are to be in the house. If you are looking to host a bridal shower, baby shower, birthday party, graduation party, family gathering etc in the house this MUST be approved by me first. There will also be an additional fee for the gathering (roughly $150-$250, depending on number of people ) to cover costs of extra cleaning and increased foot traffic through the house that really adds up in various ways. Please be respectful of this rule, my home, and my time. I LOVE that my home is your chosen space for a gathering, but this is above and beyond just a regular stay at a home. I'm fine to do it, but my price charged at booking is for families/groups staying at the house. Not also for parties, that require additional usage and cleaning in the house. If there is indication that a party of gathering has occurred without consulting me first, a $250 fee will automatically be applied.
**There are a few old concrete stairs to get up to the yard and into the home. Please keep this in mind when booking.
**Please be aware that there is another small rental on the property, but it is entirely detached. I have never had any issues with guest interactions.
