Positive: I am rating this property 9,5 but that is not an option so I am giving 10 because 9 would not be fair. The value for money in the summer season is great, maybe unbeatable. There are 3, I would say objective issues, which I will describe in the other section and I have already mentioned them to the owner over the phone. The location is good and quiet. You can easily park 2 cars in the garden but there is not a problem to leave the cars outside of the fence. The accommodation is really nice as the pictures show (although 2 bedrooms are not on the pictures) and spacious for 6 people possibly even 7. The layout of the property is as follows: After opening the front door there is 1 bedroom downstairs on the right-hand side and there was one single bed, but it could also accommodate another single bed in my opinion, if 7 people would need to stay, opposite to that, there is downstairs bathroom with shower room and toilet and then you go to open-planned kitchen living room which leads to the terrace. The beautiful stairs leads you upstairs where 2 large bedrooms are. One with double bed and the other one also has double bed and a single bed. Between the bedrooms is a bathroom (accessible from the landing) with a bathtub and a toilet and in the boiler cupboard there is a washing machine. The mattresses on beds are quite soft and bouncy when you sit on them but surprisingly comfortable to sleep on. I know this is quite subjective matter but this is my opinion. The kitchen is fully equipped and normal people would not miss anything. Our kids like toast so we brought our own toaster but that is just our kids :-) The Wi-Fi works fine and you do not need a password to connect to it, and the speed is about 15Mbps, so for normal browsing and planning your trips around the area is good enough. I hope this review will help someone.
Negative: As mentiond above there are 3 issues. 1. The front door is quite difficult to unlock / lock. From the outside you need to push the door with your whole body to unlock it and from the inside you need to keep pulling quite firmly on the handle while locking the door. I believe this can be fixed quite easily by adjusting either the locking mechanism or the door's hinges. 2. The beautiful stairs are squicking quite loudly when someone is going up/down. It is quite disturbing when someone wants to go downstairs early in the morning and others are still sleeping upstairs the same goes for the evening when for example kids are already sleeping and adults are going upstairs much later they could wake them up. I do not know what could be done about it but it would good if some good building engineer would come up with a solution. 3. The master bedroom upstairs (facing to the garden) have curtains which are a bit narrow and they do not cover the full width of the window so the daylight comes into the room early in the morning (especially in the summer) and in the other bedroom upstairs there are 2 windows in the roof and they are missing some kind of blinds or curtains completely. So to make the stay even more enjoyable I have recommended to the owner to buy new curtain rails and curtains / blinds and fix it. That is quite easily done. So that is my feedback for improvements and that is the reason why I would rate this accommodation 9.5
