We welcome you to this vintage cabin on stunning Lake Norman. If you're looking for the perfect escape from the city, here it is! Cozy, 3 bedroom, 5 bed, 2 bath lake front home nestled in the woods of small cove w/dock. Mountain feel with amazing views and tranquility. Bring your family/friends to enjoy serene days boating, swimming, fishing, hiking, or biking. To romantic evenings by the fire, working from home with a change of scenery, girls weekend trip, or long term stay. There is something for everyone at this family Friendly lakefront home.
THE SPACE:
This cozy, secluded bohemian inspired cabin is beautifully interior designed with things from all around the world, eclectic with yet a chic,modern,homey feel on the inside and a very nature-loving,forested,free,open air,mountain feel on the outside.(kinda like your camping feel)So we have the best of both here at our water front hideaway.
-Lakeview master bedroom King Bed, bathroom and deck(We enjoy having our morning coffee on this deck off the bedroom together just us and the deer...before the kids wake up.
-Guest room twin bunks
-Guest room queen bed
-Cozy living room with two coaches, large smart TV, bar seating, wood burning fireplace for winter months ( log not provided)wireless internet, lots of games, books.( no cable only your streaming devices can be logged into).
-Two outdoor deck spaces propane grill, patio furnishings with outdoor seating for patio conversation, dining for 6.( We love sitting out on the deck at night after the kiddos go to bed...turn on the string lights & lighting bugs,have a glass of wine, game of cards and just relax with food,friends,and family.
-Dock lighted covered ( there are stairs/paths to dock) in a private cove for swimming, fishing, sunning, floating( with drink in hand and music going hoping the kids don’t splash me when they jump in)kayaking, paddle boarding, boating and many waterfront restaurants close by to access by boat.(this is one of our families favorite things to do...take a boat to dinner,(we can’t do that at home).
-Outdoor rustic fire pit area great for s’mores (YUM). Very wooded tree line canopy to keep cool for a nap on hammock or a game of cornhole, lots of firewood to be found around.(wood not provided )we are campers as well and enjoy a campfire under the stars and wilderness atmosphere)This backyard gives off a great camping like vibe. No frills just a natural landscape in the woods.
-Included all mod-cons in order to comfortably stay longer term. Security system you can use while in home. And security camera for safety monitoring outside front door and dock area 24 hours a day.
-Located at the end of a private gravel road plenty of parking for cars and boat trailers. Great for walking the dog absolutely no traffic.
-Fully equipped galley kitchen with stainless steel appliances, refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, cooktop/oven, coffee pot, keurig machine, nespresso maker.
-Laundry room washer&dryer,iron
( detergent not provided due to allergies)
-Sunroom with daybed for reading, napping, or an extra sleeping space full size bed, (but not a private bedroom)
-3 kayaks, 1 paddle board 4 paddles, floats & 2 life vests for your enjoyment.( we love kayaking out to the sand dune in our cove or over to the state park...great exercise.)
Couple fishing poles at home for fishing off dock .
-Boat Rental, 24 foot Bennington Pontoon right at homes dock in backyard. The boat can be rented as an add on with your home rental and booked ahead of time unlimited daily hours until dusk. 499$ daily rental includes insurance to operate. We ask it is returned with half tank gas.( note marinas for gas close at 5:00 pm )
Seasonal rentals depending on weather requests can be made ahead for off season rentals Inquire for details, no cancellations, refunds, rainchecks after booking it is final.
Boat Rules
6 adult life vests provided ( children’s vest you will need to bring your own)
No beaching damages prop( prop picture taken before and after check in out)
Returned with gas ( fuel level picture sent at check in and out)300$ fine if not returned fueled( we do not live there to refuel the boat for next guests)
No setting on arm rests or doors they will break,
No pets unless discussed ahead
8 max persons life jackets must be worn
No smoking of any kind or drinking while operating.
Anything damaged on the pontoon you will be held accountable for replacing or repairing.

NEIGHBORHOOD OVERVIEW:
This home/dock is the last home at the end of the gravel road and cove, making this especially private and secluded both on land and water. Plenty of lighted parking for multiple vehicles/boat trailers.
Located just 4 minutes from Lake Norman Sate Park if your bringing your own boat or jet ski there is a boat launch there as well. The boat launch is right around the corner from our cove. We offer a seasonal pontoon boat rental.The cabin is Located off I-77 where you will find restaurants, grocery stores, and shopping close by. We’re 35 minutes from Charlotte nightlife, museums, Professional Sports, Racing. Not to forget lots of hiking, biking, golfing,and recreational things as well.
