There are a handful of local convenience stores nearby, and you'll be within walking distance of the shores of Admiralty Bay. Downtown Coupeville is six and a half miles north. Ebey's Landing National Historical Reserve has plenty of hiking, biking, and gorgeous scenery you can only find in the Freeland area.
