Summary: Cleanliness: The cleaners consistently left the balcony door open, and we found cockroaches in our bedroom. The staff's solution was to spray the room while we were supposed to sleep there. Hotel offered no compensation whatsoever. The swimming pool was unusable half of the stay and the staff taped notes on windows to avoid swimming before 2pm if they were able to have it cleaner (not happened). Management: After contacting Hotels.com, we were eventually offered a room change. However, the process was inconvenient, initially requiring us to wait two hours without a room until the official check-in time even though the new room was ready. Communication: Most staff members had limited English proficiency, often responding "yes" to every question, which led to misunderstandings. Smoking: The only exit was through a cloud of cigarette smoke, as the designated smoking area was right in front of the main entrance. The other entrance was locked and unusable. Almost every day in the hallways was smelling weed. Other: Water pressure fluctuates a lot and so was the water temperature Advertised concierge service, bathrobes, pool bar, restaurant (for dinners) were missing as well Room in the second floor was extremely loud. You could hear the traffic noise, the restaurants next to it and even the noise from the hallway to the room very clearly.
