Positive: The property host was very welcoming and everything that we asked for he did his best to help. The beds and pillows were comfortable and the rooms were clean. Pool for the apartments is very close.
Negative: The outside of the building and the area immediately surrounding the apartment is a disgrace. On first appearance, and luckily it was dark when we arrived, I would have refused to stay there. The window frames and glass at the property are grubby, items under the kitchen sink looked like they had been there 20 years and were disgustingly filthy. One of the kitchen drawers was full of old tools, screws etc. Not something you expect to find in a holiday apartment. It must be 1 mile at least to the exit of the complex and if you manage to walk that far you wont find a single shop or restaurant outside. No loungers or shade around the pool. We requested 2 and were given very old, painted and partly broken ones. No cushions so the next day we were brought 2, mouldy and torn. The next day we were brought an old umbrella but never used it because nobody came to move the concrete base for us. We only used the hotel pool once as it is a fair walk from the apartment. We ate one night at the hotel a la carte Italian restaurant. This was far from a la carte and many moons away from tasting anything like Italian food. If the a la carte was so bad, I dread to think what the regular restaurant food was like! I only drink occasionally but even the lager was disgusting. The shops on site are ridiculously over priced so we got an uber to the nearst supermarket
