This peaceful riverfront cabin makes it easy to get a great night’s sleep. There are two spacious bedrooms, each with hand-crafted wooden bed frames that give the home a cozy mountain cottage feel. Each room has ample closet and dresser space for you to unpack your things, and a flat-screen Roku smart TV so everyone can enjoy their favorite programs in the privacy of their rooms.
The primary suite boasts a luxurious king-sized bed and bedside tables with lamps, which makes it easier to read in bed without having to get up to turn off the lights when you’re ready to sleep! The second bedroom has two twin-over-full bunk beds, perfect for the younger members of the family.
Each room has a private ensuite bathroom with a shower and tub combination, so you can choose between a relaxing soak or a refreshing shower. Both full bathrooms are stocked with fresh towels, washcloths, and hair dryers as well as a starter set of essential toiletries for your convenience.

On the lower-level patio, you’ll find a hot tub - perfect for soaking sore muscles after a long day of hiking or exploring the surrounding area. As far as hot tubs go, the location of this one above the river is pretty fantastic!
There’s also a fire pit for roasting marshmallows and enjoying the starry night sky. Enjoy some meals on the picnic table for an alfresco dining experience above the river, and enjoy the spacious yard.

When you arrive, you will find the supplies you need for a pleasant stay, including towels, washcloths, floor towels, hand towels, blow dryers, an iron, and an ironing board. You will also be provided convenience items such as shampoo, conditioner, hand cream, cleansing wipes, shower gel, bathroom tissue, paper towels, and trash bags.
BOOKING REQUIREMENTS
Guests must be 25 years old to book and stay. The retreat is designed to comfortably host 8 guests maximum. No pets allowed. Review all house rules before booking. By booking, you have agreed to comply with all house rules.

* Drive time to most major attractions in the Pigeon Forge is 15-45 minutes (8 to 27 miles depending on what you plan to visit) but could be significantly more with major events that commonly occur in the area and/or weather.
* Recommended maximum weight on upper bunk beds is 150 lbs.
* The driveway has a slope that should not cause any issues provided there are no harsh weather conditions present.
* The hot tub on the lower porch is only accessible from the downstairs area or the stairs area, using the driveway from the front porch, or walking down the outdoor stairs from the covered porch. We recommend wearing slip-resistant shoes in all wet areas. The hot tub is under a covered porch. Exercise extreme caution when walking up to and from the hot tub and upon entering the downstairs area as these areas can be very slippery when wet.
* When operating normally the cabin internet is fast enough to support video streaming, conference calls, and general web browsing, but because it is in the mountains it is subject to decreased speeds and outages during bad weather. Even though the internet is usually fine, we *cannot guarantee* what the internet speed will be during any particular stay. This is normal for the area.

IMPORTANT DISCLAIMERS ABOUT ALL MOUNTAIN CABINS
Since you’re booking a mountain vacation, please be aware that nearly all cabins in the area have unique characteristics that you might not find at an urban condo or a beach house:
* The Smoky Mountains are the native habitat for many creatures big and small. This includes bears, mice, snakes, and lots of bugs. We do our best to keep the critters out and have regular pest-control service but every once in a while, a critter may find its way near your home. Local law requires that food not be left outside at any time unless it is properly discarded in trash cans. The guest is responsible for any run-ins with wildlife.
* For your safety we have installed caution signs blocking the stairs leading to the river. While the river may look calm, and you may be tempted to get in to cool off, the conditions of the river can quickly change. Access to the river is prohibited from this property.
* Well water is different from city water. It is often crystal clear, but it is possible to see mineral sediment in the water. We recommend packing bottled water for drinking. Also, keep in mind that the hot tub is filled with well water. If the hot tub has a small amount of sediment in the bottom, it is not because it is unclean, but rather because it was filled with well water. The hot tub is completely emptied and cleaned before every stay, and the filter is replaced regularly.
* Curvy mountain roads may be hard to navigate in poor weather. Please check the weather report before booking and dates of travel. Occasionally in the winter, the mountain roads aren't drivable due to ice and snow, and snow chains and/or 4WD may be required on many roads in the area. It is a good idea to purchase travel insurance if there is a possibility of canceling your trip due to the weather, as we follow the strict cancellation policy and cannot refund for weather-related reasons.
* Cell phone service is often poor or nonexistent, so print or save to map app directions and other important cabin info before embarking on the adventure. Also plan to connect mobile phones to wifi after arrival, if needed for better service.
