NOTE: By booking your stay at The Blue Door, you acknowledge that the home is located on a street that can experience busy traffic at times. Street parking is not available directly in front of the house; however, parking is available on neighboring side streets. The driveway can accommodate 2-3 vehicles. Please plan accordingly and park responsibly to ensure a smooth and enjoyable stay.

✅ You will have private use and access to the entire house and all its amenities during your stay ❤️ including the hot tub, the full kitchen, and outdoor lounging area.
✅ Guest parking is available on our driveway and can comfortably accommodate 2 cars, but a 3rd car can be squeezed in. Parking is also available in the neighboring side streets, just a short walking distance from the house.
✅ Guests will have the ability to check themselves in via electronic keypad lock located on the front door. A personalized PIN code will be sent to you on the day of your arrival.

✅ The house is fully cleaned before each guests’ stay and ALL bedding, linens and towels are provided!
Kindly care for the space as if it were your own. If any problems arise, we will do our best to take action as soon as possible but no one is living on-site 24/7.
📹 SECURITY CAMERAS
Doorbell cameras and exterior cameras are present (front door and side of house). NO cameras are present inside of the house for your privacy and comfort during your stay.
📈 MAXIMUM CAPACITY
The Blue Door can sleep up to 8 people. For all guests above the maximum capacity, a fee of $30 per guest per day will be applied.
📌 REQUIREMENT
The primary booking guest must be at least 25 years old (valid government ID required and to be submitted on our guest portal). If under 25, guests can still book with either a parent or legal guardian staying for the entire reservation or by placing a $500 security hold to ensure a smooth stay.
🛃 Approved guests will be required to sign a renter agreement and provide a valid credit card for the pre-authorized damage deposit upon booking approval. A link to provide the above info will be sent following your confirmed booking.
💰A $300 off-platform REFUNDABLE security hold will be scheduled upon booking. This hold will be placed 1-2 days prior to arrival and released 3-7 days after departure (if no damages are reported). Please note: we are API-connected to a hotel-style management software called Hostaway in order to safely and securely take security deposits. This is AirbBnB-approved.
❗ KEEP DOORS & WINDOWS CLOSED
It is very critical that you keep all doors and windows closed when entering/exiting the house to 1) keep any bugs or critters from entering, especially during warmer months and 2) to maintain an enjoyable temperature inside the home.
⚠️ WEATHER CONDITIONS & POWER OUTAGES
We encourage all guests to purchase traveler insurance in case of unforeseen circumstances like storms or power outages, accidents or other issues that may prohibit you from traveling or fulfilling the rental terms as we cannot offer a refund for unpredictable situations.
Depending on the weather and climate, you may see an increase in the presence of bugs, tree sap and debris around the house including the back patio deck and furniture.
The area around the Blue Door can experience some moderate rainfall and in warmer months, hot and humid weather. The warmer months can put a strain on the air-conditioning system so it’s important to keep the doors and windows closed as much as possible. During the months with moderate rainfall, it's essential to be aware of potential changes in the road conditions as well.
While the rainfall doesn't typically last for extended periods, it's advisable to stay informed about local weather forecasts during your stay, especially if you plan to travel in colder months.
🐶 PET POLICY
(A) Pets are welcomed to The Blue Door ONLY WITH PRIOR APPROVAL. A pet stay fee per pet AND a one-time pet cleaning fee will be applied if a request for the presence of a pet is approved (This fee does not cover damage to the property or grounds resulting from a pet, including but not limited to: chewing, scratching, digging and unreported house-training accidents); and
(B) All local laws and regulations must be followed. Please, observe leash laws and do not bring your pet to public areas like parks and beaches that do not allow animals.
(C) Guests with pets are asked to please respect the comfort and safety of other guests, both during and after your stay. For this reason, we ask that you please follow these guidelines during your time with us:
1. Pet Information Request: To ensure a pleasant stay for all our guests, we kindly ask you to provide the following information about your pet(s):

◼︎ A picture of your pet
◼︎ Proof of current vaccinations
2. Pet Stay Fee: A pet stay fee of $150 per pet per stay is required, in addition to an additional $150 pet cleaning fee alongside the standard house cleaning fee. This ensures that the property is thoroughly cleaned and sanitized after your stay, making it comfortable for all our guests. BOTH FEES WILL BE COLLECTED SEPARATELY FROM THE RESERVATION PAYMENT.
3. Maximum Number of Pets: You are welcome to bring up to two (2) pets during your stay.
4. Furniture: To maintain the cleanliness and condition of the furnishings, thank you for keeping your pets off the furniture and beds.
5. Owner Responsibility:
◼︎ Owners are responsible for their pets at all times, both inside and outside the house.
◼︎ Please ensure your pet is well-behaved and does not disturb other guests or neighbors.
◼︎ Clean up after your pet, both in public areas and in the yard of the vacation property.
◼︎ Do not allow pets on furniture or beds. Extra cleaning fees will be charged for furniture, blankets, comforters, etc. that have pet hair left behind. This may include professional steam cleaning; usually resulting in charges above $200.
◼︎ Don’t leave your pet unattended for long periods of time. A crate is ideal for those situations in which you must leave. You are responsible for any damages your pet causes.
◼︎ Do not allow your pets in the swimming pool or in the hot tub or in the guest bathrooms.
◼︎ Additionally, kindly ensure your pet (s) is/are up-to-date on vaccinations as required by state law, as well as medications, especially flea treatment prior to your stay.
