Breathtakingly private and unique, there is no other house like this in the Northern Beaches of Sydney. Taking its inspiration from classic Victorian architecture, 'Church Point House' artfully blends graceful elegance with comfort and luxury.
Privately set on a stunning 4,700sqm parcel it presides over Pittwater as few other properties can. Surrounded by beautifully terraced gardens, a saltwater pool and captivating views across the waterfront.
The space:
Entry level : a beautiful large hall way, formal lounge, formal dining, powder room, kitchen and casual dining
Level 1 : Three bedrooms including Master Bedroom with ensuite and King bed (sleeps 2), Bedroom 2 with queen bed (sleeps 2), Bedroom 3 with double bed (sleeps 2) and a split bathroom with shower/toilet and bath/toilet.
Level 2 : TV room
Ground floor : Games room, laundry, bathroom (ideal for showering after your swim) and Bedroom 4 with King bed (sleeps 2) includes an ensuite and verandah.
The Master Bedroom and Bedroom 4 are extremely large rooms and have beautiful water views. Bedroom 2 and 3 are also generous in proportion and have green leafy views.
There are two single mattresses for the 9th/10th guest. These can be made up and placed on the floor in any of the bedrooms. If they are required please advise which room you would like them in.
The house is set on the side of a hill surrounded by trees, which enables beautiful water views and you really feel like you are in a treehouse. It is a gorgeous setting.
The road leading to the home, is steep, but once you reach the home, there is a long, mostly flat, private driveway as the home is set back from the street, making it nice and quiet. The grounds are set over one acre which is fabulous for privacy. The gardens are terraced, there is both level and uneven lawn. There are stairs between the house and the pool. The entry from your car/taxi into the home is flat. There is ample parking for three cars on the private driveway outside the garage.
We have a lot of beautiful wildlife who may visit you during your stay. King parrots, lorikeets, echidnas, wallabies, cockatoo's, lizards, goanna, kookaburra, lyrebirds, brush turkey and yes sometimes spiders, and rarely snakes, but it is always good to be on the lookout when walking in the gardens.
A short walk from our home are fabulous waterfront cafe's, a bus stop, post office, general store, bottle shop, yacht hire and the Church Point Ferry Wharf. The Waterfront Cafe, Pasadena, The Marina Cafe are some of our favourite places to have a bite or sundowner overlooking the Pittwater.
We absolutely love relaxing at the end of each day, on our private deck, overlooking the water, watching the boats and listening to the birds. It would be our absolute pleasure to welcome you to enjoy this too.
