Our semi-basement level apartment includes:
- 2 closed bedrooms with comfortable beds (queen size in the master bedroom, and double in the second bedroom). It comfortably houses 4 people.
- A fully equipped kitchen, with all that you need to feel like you’re at home, adjacent to an open concept dining room/ living room area
- A full bath and separate laundry area
- Free wifi
- Ceilings are over 8ft
We do not have a dedicated parking spot, but there is public, street parking available on our street and on adjacent streets.
Getting around:
The Pie-IX metro (subway) station is a 3 minute walk from the apartment. It will take you downtown in less than 15 minutes where connections to other metro lines or buses can be made.
A few restaurants, a pharmacy and corner stores are right down the street. Grocery stores, drug stores, banks, restaurants, cafés, fruit shops, bakeries etc. can be found on Promenade Ontario, which is a 10 minute walk away.
The Hochelaga Maisonneuve neighbourhood is an up and coming area located on the southeastern part of the island of Montreal. It is close to the port of Montreal and started out as an industrial neighbourhood. In recent years it has seen lots of development with people attracted to its small town feel. A seamless blend of old and new gives this working class neighborhood its characteristic vibe. Old Montreal style houses stand alongside more modern buildings, recycled factories and old churches. Our fully furnished, 2 bedroom apartment, is within walking distance of la Promenade Ontario, where hip new restaurants, cafes, bakeries, stores and pubs can be found alongside tried and true Quebecois stores, bars, pubs and restaurants.
The Olympic stadium is within walking distance, as are the Biodome, Planetarium , Insectarium, and Botanical Gardens. Maisonneuve Park, the Maurice Richard Arena, Centre Pierre Charbonneau and the Saputo soccer stadium are one metro stop away.
College Maisonneuve is a 5 minute walk, while it takes between 20 and 35 minutes to get to McGill University, Concordia University and UQAM by metro. The downtown core is 25 minutes away by metro.
