Summary: The property is clean and modern. The staff was nice. I have to do a thumbs down on this due to the stairs and lack of AC. There are several stairs to access our room. And there was no AC - how did I miss that one? The room had a genuine thatched roof and small lizards would periodically appear - no big deal to me, but if you are squeamy, maybe to you. Zipolite is one steamy hot place and AC is a must. There was music going all night - I mean all night - not sure from where, but there was a beach party real near the hotel. The room was decorated nice, there was a ceiling fan, but it was small. It was almost too hot and loud to sleep that night, but each of us managed a few hours of shut eye.
