Positive: It felt nice and clean. It wasn’t too busy but still close to everything we needed. There was also lots of pantry staples. I really liked that we weren’t given a long list of chores to do when leaving (like some places that want you to clean everything you’ve touched) which made leaving far easier. Just had to return the keys so that was nice. Once we got in contact it was easy to ask questions if we needed to.
Negative: It would have been good if there was a chain lock or something on the inside of the door. I looked for an extra blanket in the cupboard because it was cold and we only had the doona but there were only uncovered quilts shoved in there and I didn’t know if we should use them. It would be nice to have a warm folded blanket somewhere so the heater doesn’t have to be on all night. The communication was a little difficult to begin with because I didn’t get the original confirmation email so we were really confused and couldn’t get in contact. That obviously wasn’t the property’s fault though, once I had it resent it was all good. A manual with small details like the wifi password and parking situation might also be helpful.
