What does hygge mean?
Hygge is the Danish term for feeling at home, having it cozy. It's more than just a warm feeling in your stomach, it's a smile that you carry through the day.
And that's what we want to offer you.
The living room offers relaxation with its cozy seating area. The sofa can also be converted into a sofa bed.
The dining room seats 6 people at the table and not just for meals, which can also be taken on the large balcony in fine weather.
There are 2 bedrooms with closets: a walk-through room with 2 single beds and a bedroom with a 180cm double bed.
The bathroom was completely renovated in March 2023 and also has a washing machine and dryer in the room for longer stays. The shower has a low entry. Of course, we provide washing machine tabs, as well as sensitive shower gel and shampoo.
The fully equipped kitchen also offers more than just breakfast facilities. Various coffee makers offer the right thing for everyone. There is a Tchibo capsule machine, a French press and of course the good old hand filter. Tea drinkers will find a small selection of teas.
Of course, we offer a small "emergency ration" on arrival in case you didn't get around to shopping due to a late arrival. Local and regional products are welcome.
Dog towels, water and food bowls are also provided.
Even the less active hours or days can be spent here comfortably with a good Nordic book with thrillers, novels and stories to make you smile. Stream audio books and podcasts on the sound system or simply enjoy the peace and quiet on the balcony. Even on cooler days, you can lie here wrapped up in a blanket and have a good time.
In general, the north offers wonderful opportunities and moments in winter. Ice sailing on the Schlei, for example.

Access for guests
Access is possible at any time.
There is a key safe outside the front door and the temporary code will be sent to you before you arrive. So you can decide when you want to arrive.
We always plan a cleaning on the day of arrival until 2 pm. If you need to arrive earlier, we can also make this possible by arrangement.
Further important information
We offer the possibility to use two bicycles.
Both are always well-maintained, high-quality ladies' bikes without an electric motor.
If you want to bring your own e-bikes and need a secure shelter, please discuss this with us in advance.
The apartment is located on the 1st floor without an elevator and is therefore not barrier-free.
We are located on the northern edge of Schleswig.
Very conveniently located for bicycle tours and trips to other places along the Schlei.
The weekly market is within walking distance and there is a Rewe supermarket.
A beverage market, an Aldi and a supermarket are 3 minutes away by car.

The harbors and the Schlei are 5 minutes away by car and about 10 minutes by bike.
The city center of Schleswig is also about 5 minutes away.
Around the corner of the apartment begins a beautiful forest and meadow area.
Wonderful for a dog walk or daily jogging.
