1 Bedroom House in Brigueil-le-Chantre

We are in rural France, with plenty of walking, cycling or just relaxing by the pool. We have a one bedroom gite which can sleep 4 people, there is a kings size bed, sofa bed and single bed can be provided. There is the private en-suite shower room with w/c, there is a walk in wardrobe. Views over the surrounding farmland. The communal area is light and spacious with a lounge area with wood burner, dinning area and fitted kitchen with dishwasher. There is access to a washing machine and outside line for drying clothing on. Bedding and towels are supplied, just supply your own swimming towels. The pool is seasonal as it isn't heated, it is fenced. You are welcome to use the garden but due to being a working small holding please respect the animals that live here. There is an outside terrace, which is private for your use only where you can sit and eat your meals, it over looks the pool area.

Some of the local attractions are: We are approximately an hour from Poitiers where you will find Futuroscope,
Montmorillion is the place to visit if you are a book lover as it is full of book shops, quaint, medieval streets or just go and relax at one of the restaurants by the river or a coffee shop in the square.
Take a visit to Vallée de Singes, this is a great day out, take a picnic or eat at the restaurant.
Planete Crocodile at Civaux about 45 minutes away
Lac de Saint Pardoux approx. an hour away
Lac D'Eguzon is approx. 45 minutes away.
There is bungy jumping from the Viaduct at I' Isle Jourdain approx. 45 minutes away, Kayaking is also accessable at I'Isle Jourdain or Moussac which is also approx. 45 minutes away.

Summary: Absolutely lovely place! Really friendly family and very welcoming, also Rodger is a great babysitter!! Such beautiful views and a really comfortable home from home feel in the gite. Were looking forward to coming back soon!!!
