Coromandel Cottage was lovingly built as the 'baby' to Coromandel Lodge. This 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom stylish cottage is just perfect for a weekend away, or for attending a wedding at one of the nearby venues - Bendooley, Eling Forest, Centennial and more. And the beautiful outside bath is a fantastic feature of the master bedroom! With its own driveway and parking, the Cottage is set well enough away from Coromondel Lodge, so is completely separate and private.

- Coromandel Lodge for 8, within the same grounds, can also be booked if you have more guests
- The stairs to the upstairs bedroom are steep and not suitable for the elderly or very young
- If you wish to bring a pet or dog, please read our pet policy below
- No weddings, events or parties are permitted at Coromandel Lodge - sorry!
Where will I be?
Coromandel Cottage is located down a quiet cul de sac, gravel road, right on the doorstep of Berrima town. It is a short 3 minute drive to the local pub or a selection of shops and cafes - and is also within easy driving distance of the Bendooley Estate (5 minutes), and other wedding venues. Bowral and Moss Vale are an easy and very scenic 10 minute drive away.

How is the property laid out?
Coromandel Cottage has a mezzanine design, with the living areas and master bedroom downstairs, and a second loft style bedroom upstairs (open to the living area). The stairs to the upstairs level are steep, so not suited to the elderly or very young.
The open plan lounge, dining, kitchen area has everything you need including a fully equipped kitchen and a coffee machine.
The main king bedroom is on the ground level and has a fantastic outside bath tub, with privacy screening.
The second sleeping area is a mezzanine, queen bedroom above the lounge - accessed via a staircase. The second shower bathroom is on the ground level.
WiFi, Netflix, Pay TV – will I have it?
Coromandel Cottage has good WiFi throughout so that working from home is normally hassle free.
Please note however that neither The Holidays Collection nor the owner can guarantee 100% that the WiFi will work, and no compensation will be payable if problematic. If Wi-Fi is important, please therefore always have a back up plan.
What about outdoors?
Coromandel Cottage adjoins the park-like garden of Coromandel Lodge that was planted almost half a century ago. It is a special place that changes with the seasons and has abundant birdlife. Also keep your eyes out for kangaroos who often visit at dawn and dusk, and you’ll almost certainly see rabbits scampering about the lawns.
The clay tennis court is for use by either the Coromandel Lodge or Coromandel Cottage guests. Tennis raquets and balls are provided. Enjoy!
You also have use of your own fire pit with Adirondack chairs.
Staying warm or keeping cool!
For keeping warm, Coromandel Cottage has a wood burner and air conditioning. For keeping cool, the cottage can be opened up to the fresh air, or you have the use of air conditioning.
What about sheets, towels and other supplies?
High quality sheets and towels are provided at Coromandel Cottage.
Parking for cars, boats etc?
There is carport style parking for 2 vehicles.
Is my dog or cat also welcome to stay?
Yes, Coromandel Cottage is pet friendly. The property is not fully fenced and only small, house trained dogs are permitted. If you wish to bring more than one dog please contact our bookings team to discuss your request. You must please bring your own bedding and supplies, clean up appropriately (both indoors and out), and keep all pets off furniture and beds. Guests in Coromandel Lodge may have a pet at the same time - FYI. Pets must be free of fleas/pests and in good health. Finally, no cats or other animals are allowed due to the wildlife in our gardens. If there are any damages or extra cleaning charges from your stay, you will be charged accordingly.
What are the minimum stay rules?
- Peak Season: Between 2 and 7 nights, depending on the property
- Easter: 4 nights
- Long Weekends: 3 nights
- All other times: 2 nights
Are there any special Peak Season rules?
Please note that during Peak Season, our properties may have designated changeover days so as to make the cleaning rosters manageable. We also do not schedule arrivals on the Christmas, Boxing, and New Years Day public holidays.
