The home has 14 luxurious bedroom and sleeps 24 , it Includes a conversion of a former chapel to make a leisure facility which includes an 18 metre heated indoor pool with a state of the art gym, Jacuzzi and Sauna and offers 9 Acres of grounds with a former boating Lake.

This home is a "country estate" but with the advantage of being only a short walk from all the facilities that the lovely town of Malmesbury has to offer, we are very proud to have this exquisite home with over 25,000 sq ft of living space.
14 bedrooms in total which all have king or superking sized beds , added to this there are extra single beds in 3 of the rooms, with plenty of room in most rooms if you need a babies crib or cot.
5 of the bedrooms have luxury ensuites with showers and baths and the other 8 bedrooms are serviced by a further 4 bathrooms in very close proximity to each room.
In total the house has 10 bathrooms and 15 toilets including 4 on the ground floor and full showering facilities in the gym and Pool.
The leisure complex housed in a former chapel includes an award winning 18 metre heated indoor pool and Gym. You will have access to , Spin bike, free weights, ellipse trainer, multi gyms, squat racks , there's even a golf simulator and outdoor chipping and putting green for you to sharpen up that swing !
Top up the tan with a high speed stand up solarium with full showering facilities for the pool and gym along with a steam sauna.
When arriving through the main gates you will first notice the clocktower as well as the intricate carvings of the original owner and builder of the "grand" house when first built in 1846.
As you enter the house through the Impressive arched doors you will be welcomed into a grand hallway with its marble floor, magnificent fireplace and grand arches leading you into the south wing of the house where you will see the snooker room with full sized snooker table with imposing bookcases surrounding the room with fully restored original oak flooring and bar area.
Next you will come across the grand staircase and begin to see evidence of the antique furniture collected from Tetbury (Englands antique capital) which is only a 10 minute drive away and a popular destination for a unique day out. This is also the site of the Highgrove estate, former home to our King and current residence of Prince William.
Adjacent to the grand staircase is the first lounge , carefully planned out with the furniture befitting of such a magnificent room and then comes the library, placed carefully to give access and further views to the garden.
After the library comes the great dining room with its 26ft handmade oak table capable of seating 24 people, restored oak fireplace and barley twist pillars , the oak panelling in the room being the original from 1846.
Leading on from the Dining room is an all mod cons "smallbone" kitchen which includes Gagganau and Miele appliances , sleek and plentiful marble work surfaces, 2 x dishwashers with breakfast bars and a solid walnut dining table that seats 12 people, this is where you will see the gardens to their fullest and your first clear view of the boating lake to the south.
Outside of the kitchen is the main patio area with Barbecue facilities and ample outdoor seating for the group which includes teak root furniture. A point worth noting is the bi fold doors from the indoor pool area, these will fold back onto their very own patio on summer days to bring the indoor pool outdoors.
Leading on from the kitchen you will reach the Children's creche / playroom with soft floor play area with soft toys for the toddlers and games consoles for the older kids, this is fitted with Barn doors ideal for keeping the kids safe from wandering too far and allowing you to keep an eye on them from either the Kitchen and lounge.
Then on to the magnificent former ballroom which is now the main Lounge with multiple seating areas, Intricate ceilings and stunning fireplace. This room features a 100" flatscreen and TV cabinet converted from a former puppet theatre rescued from a palace in Jaipur in the 1940's.
Also of note is the magnificent ceiling with its intricate plaster work with the initials "IM" to represent a former owner of the house in the late 1800's.
Connected via the rear corridor is the North wing which contains its own lounge , full kitchen and dining areas along with 2 full bathrooms and although this space is an integral part of the whole house, it can be easily annexed by way of an internal lockable door on both upper and lower levels to make its own 4 bedroom house with 2 bathrooms and its own external entrance.
You will enjoy 9 acres of grounds to wander in with a victorian water garden and former boating lake...... all of this adjacent to a thousand year old town that hosts Englands oldest Hotel and abbey along with boutique shopping and multiple restaurants and coffee shops.
You are a 10 minute drive away from Tetbury , 25 minutes from Cirencester the capital of cotswolds, 40 minutes to Cheltenham , Bath and Bristol , and just over an hours train journey to London on the two main line train stations (Kemble and Chippenham) both which are within a 15 minute drive away.
The house is perfect for large family or friends gatherings and dines and sleeps maximum 24 people inside the house, however if you wish to take the party outside you are welcome to rent a marquee or bouncy castles etc as there is plenty of space on the lawns for this, we will happily point you in the right direction for local places where you can arrange marquee hire directly.
We are more than happy to host wedding guests and events such as pre wedding gatherings, however please note we do not offer actual weddings or ceremonies in the grounds.
The house is not available for stag parties but Hen weekends are a possibility subject to pre-approval and a prior meeting with the home owner.
We also have access to great local private chefs that we will more than happily put you in touch with should this be something you require.

Guest access
You will be greeted by a full time property manager who lives within 100 yards of the house and will be available to talk you through the facilities when you arrive, they will be on hand for any issues or questions that may arise and please note a gardener and pool cleaner may be in the grounds during your stay.

We are dog friendly, maximum 4 dogs allowed in downstairs areas only, there is a large boot room available.
