Set in a great location only a stone's throw from one of the oldest golf courses in the world, the fabulous Fortrose & Rosemarkie golf links. Also within a few minutes' walk from the fantastic Rosemarkie beach which leads a sandy trail all the way to Chanonry Point and its lighthouse - one of the best spots in the UK to see bottlenose dolphins from the shore. You can walk down to the lighthouse and spot dolphins every day if you're only a little lucky and have the desire to do so! Close to the centres of Fortrose and Rosemarkie, so within walking distance away from the shore you have restaurants, cafes, bars and shops. You have everything you need for a fantastic holiday on your doorstep, there's really no need to hop in the car whilst you're staying at The Haven. However, you're on the Black Isle in the Highlands and getting in the car and exploring this amazing place is what it's all about.
The list is endless for places to go and see. You'll have to research and go where takes your fancy. However, Loch Ness is only a short drive away, so too is Glen Affric and a bit further the Cairngorms National Park awaits. The NC500 is nearby and this can lead you to amazing places north and west as well. The accommodation itself is great. Walking into the open-plan living/dining/kitchen from the patio you are greeted with a well-equipped, comfortable space with a woodburning stove taking centre stage. Off to the right is a double bedroom and a bathroom with cubicle shower. And off to the left is a twin bedroom with en-suite bathroom which has a big bath and shower attachment on it.
