1 Bedroom Cottage in Grand Junction
This quaint 1930's cottage has been lovingly restored to reflect my eclectic personality. My love for design and repurposing old antiques mixed with new shows throughout. Guests will have access to the whole cottage and the spacious backyard behind them leading to a mini orchard complete with a 30 foot grapevine tunnel. The interior of the cottage has tall ceilings in the main living area and your bedroom has a low intimate ceiling. This is what makes for a cozy feeling. We live on the property in the main house but you have your own private patio with a propane B-B-Q grill and a new gazebo and courtyard area. I will greet you upon arrival or if something comes up a co host will. I love meeting my guests and interact as much as I can. Hospitality is in my blood. I ran my Victorian Rose bed and breakfast for almost 20 years in Ouray, Colorado. I am indeed a people person but I respect your privacy...
The neighborhood is on historic First Street across from Hillcrest Manor neighborhood with a park right around the corner. Shopping is within walking distance with trees and sidewalks lining the street on both sides. St.Mary's Hospital is a few blocks away. There are bicycle lanes on First Street and plenty of places to walk in the neighborhood . Restaurants, a chocolate shop, consignment shops, florist and a drugstore are all walking distance
